Associate Pharmacist
Job Responsibilities
- Proposing and driving sales and marketing initiatives
- Good knowledge of up and cross selling techniques
- Accurately and safely dispense prescription medications to customers ensuring compliance and quality standards
- Maintaining proper inventory levels in the store, ensuring the availability of products while managing reasonable stock coverage levels
- Collaborating with the team to provide excellent customer service, addressing customer inquiries, and ensuring a positive experience
- Proactively researches and proposes products for selection / deselection
- Proposing and driving product promotion initiatives
- Continuously coach the sales associate to boost their skills
- Demonstrating strategic mindset for long term value creation
- Regularly monitoring local competition and stay up to date with development and trends in the pharmaceutical field
- Good knowledge of point-of-sales and general store operations
- Working closely with the Superintendent Pharmacist and other team members to achieve the store’s operational goals/target while maintaining a cooperative and efficient work environment.

Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor of Pharmacy, B-Pharm
- Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations, practices and ethics
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent interpersonal and strong communication skills
- Customer centric attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Proficiency in pharmacy software and record keeping systems
- Ability to work effectively in a team oriented environment
- As a full time Associate Pharmacist, your standard working hours are expected to range around 50 hours per week.
- Your work will require you to work evenings and weekends
