Job Summary:

The POS Terminal Configuration and Setup Officer is tasked with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of POS terminals in retail and hospitality settings. This role involves setting up, testing, and troubleshooting POS software, hardware, and networks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and configure POS hardware and software.
• Set up and test new POS terminals.
• Provide technical support to end-users.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Collaborate with teams to resolve technical problems.
• Maintain records of installations.
• Document standard operating procedures for setup.
• Develop training materials and conduct user training.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and support.
• Stay updated on POS industry trends and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in POS system setup and configuration.
• Strong technical skills in POS hardware, software, and networking.
• Experience in troubleshooting technical issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift and move equipment up to 30 kilograms.
