Responsibilities
As a Phonetic Teacher,
- You will be responsible for designing and implementing an engaging, stimulating, and developmentally appropriate curriculum.
- You will create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that fosters children’s social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth.
- You will work closely with fellow teachers, parents, and the school’s administration to ensure each pupil receives the highest quality education, helping them unlock their potential and build a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in English Education.
- Alternatively, a degree in other fields with a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Education
Professional Experience:
- At least two (2) years of experience (Post NYSC) as a Phonetic or English Language Teacher
- Experience in developing eLearning resources is an advantage
Certifications:
- TRCN (Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria) certification is an added advantage
Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development theories, practices, and teaching techniques
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Basic proficiency with computing devices such as computers, scanners, and printed
