Talent Management Officer
Job Summary
The job holder is responsible for providing substantive support across a full range of HR functional areas including talent acquisition, staffing & selection, performance, and talent management. The position maintains an updated staff database/record as well as perform other departmental ad-hoc projects such as workforce analytics reporting.
Job Details
- Attend to recruitment requests in collaboration with all stakeholders within and outside of the department
- Prepare job opening adverts, search for talents, review applications, and provide a short-list to the hiring department
- Guide Managers and hiring department through the recruitment process, including conducting check-ins and advising on advertisement strategy and interview processes
- Serve as the point of contact for applicants and hiring departments
- Arrange and coordinate interviews and travel arrangements to select candidates
- Maintain an applicant information database and a candidate pool database. Implement processes to mitigate unconscious bias in our candidate assessment process, facilitate diverse and robust candidate pools, and help ensure an inclusive and positive candidate experience.
- Deliver learning and development programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
- Assist with onboarding and orientation related support to employees.
- Attend to employees’ enquiries/complaints.
- Provide necessary administrative support as required for offer, confirmation, exit, leave, handover, Transfers, etc.
- Organize, maintain,and update staffpersonnel records – Requisition, CandidatePool, Promotion, KPI, Appraisal Rating & Competency Rating
- Maintain the performance and talent management system (e.g. updating job descriptions, departmental structures, and performance agreement forms, Maintaining database of criticalroles, successors, employeeperformance & competency ratings).
- Collaborate with Line Managersto gather trainingneeds and proffernecessary interventions.
- Organize in-housetraining and ensure attendance of trainees and facilitators.
- Manage the e-learning Platform. Enroll staff on the e-learning platform, track completion statusand submit periodic reports.
- Support the Talent Management Manger in identifying Roles of Interestand implementing developmental plans for selected employees.
- Maintain knowledge of policies, procedures, Internal Condition of Service and applicable labour laws
- Assist supervisors and staff with understanding and using the Performance Management System (PMS)
- Analyze workforce data to identify trends and inform talent management decisions.
- Monitor and ensure compliance to approved annualdepartmental calendar.
- Develop and drive EmployeeEngagement initiatives.
- Act as the primary contactto employees’ queries about Talent Management related issues
- Participate in other ad hoc HR projects.
- Any other task as assigned by the Line Manager.
Requirements
- Minimum Qualification of a bachelor’sdegree in any relevant field with background in Human Resourcesor Psychology
- Relevant certification with any of the following: CIPM, SHRM, HRCI
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with 2years occupying asimilar position in amodel organization.
