Controls System Specialist

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily ICSS project operations, ensuring timely and efficient execution, overseeing the calibration laboratory and field instrumentation services.
  • Train and develop Nigerian staff in ICSS system designs, architecture development, integration and upgrade.
  • Monitor the progress of projects and performance metrics to achieve set objectives.
  • Analyze existing operations to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance productivity and performance.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team for the purpose of technology and knowledge transfer.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of professionals, creating a collaborative and motivating work environment.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and high performance among team members.
  • Effectively allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize operational efficiency.

Requirements, Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor in Engineering or similar educational or technical qualification in a relevant branch of engineering, and be a chartered engineer.
  • 5 to 8 Years of relevant work experience with Control Systems especially in the oil and gas industry.
  • Proven technical and analytical skills to quickly investigate and resolve issues with Instruments, valves, and other field Devices.
  • Experience with the Oil and Gas Environments.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of validation requirements for field instruments.
