Key Responsibilities

• Perform financial analysis and reporting to management as needed
• Perform month-end accounting activities such as reconciliations and journal entries
• Evaluate computerized accounting systems and provide recommendations to the IT, team, for performance improvements.
• Generate financial reports and statements to the manager for review
• Analyze financial discrepancies and recommend effective resolutions
• Monitor expenditures, analyze revenues determine budget variances, and report the same to management
• Respond to accounting inquiries from management in a timely fashion
• Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities for assigned accounts
• Assist in auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentation
• Monitor and record financial transactions according to company policies and regulations
• Review and recommend changes to existing accounting procedures
• coordinate with the finance team to complete assigned accounts ting tasks within the deadlines

Requirements

• B.sc Accounting (ACA/ACCA Intermediate level).
• Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience. Previous experience in the HMO industry will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of the National Health Insurance Authority’s operation will be a significant advantage.
• Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and sensitive to confidential information.
• Team-oriented with strong management and interpersonal skills
• Proven experience demonstrating mastery of computerized accounting systems, especially SAGE
• proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel & PowerPoint
• Good communication skills, both oral and written.
• Must have a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
