Biomedical Engineers
Responsibilities:
- Maintain, repair, and calibrate biomedical equipment, including autoclaves, suction machines, monitors, and diagnostic devices.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure all medical devices comply with safety and performance standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize equipment downtime.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide technical support and training on the proper use and care of equipment.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and equipment performance.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in biomedical engineering and recommend upgrades or new equipment as needed.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital protocols for medical equipment management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience maintaining and repairing medical equipment.
- Strong knowledge of medical devices, including autoclaves, suction machines, and other critical care equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Preferred Skills:
- Degree in Biomedical Engineering. (other certifications is an added advantage.)
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and maintenance software.
