Corporate Finance Associate
Responsibilities
The ideal Candidate will (but not limited to):
- Identify and analyse risks and opportunities considerations and potential impact on valuation and returns.
- All facets of trade execution for bond and loan deals
- Ensure timely and accurate business/financial reports and plans
- Ensure error-free, relevant reporting including data preparation, report creation and quality control
- Monitor oversights and due diligence of Company’s transactions
- Monitor Negotiation of transaction, documentations including sales and purchase agreements and other legal documents.
- Assist in Financial structuring and other transaction related matters.
- Liase with business stakeholders across all levels to achieve transactional business goals.
- Manage relationships with top financial institutions and other stakeholders on financing requirements.
- Maintain abreast of the changing business landscape in order to identify opportunities to drive both organic and inorganic growth.
- Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.
- Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.
- Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews.
- Act as a Liaison to various groups including IAS program leads, finance, project managers, etc
- Apply critical thinking to various requirements.
- Assist in the planning and budgeting, including variance analysis, headcount reporting, allocation of projects etc
- Provide additional reviews / enhance financial reporting.
- Foster an environment of high collaboration with business constituents.
- Provide strategic financial and operational insights.
- Perform frequent and complex ad hoc analytical assignments.
- Reconciling general ledger accounts and withheld taxes to the tax informational forms monthly
- State Income Tax filings for non-life subsidiaries
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or other Finance related Field
- An MBA in Finance will be an added advantage
- ICAN Certified, or any additional relevant qualification will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 4 years working experience in similar role
- Technical Competencies
- Sound investigative and analytical skills.
Required Competence
- Good understanding of general Business Management
- Prior experience within the Export industry or Corporate Finance experience in a top tier consulting firm or investment Bank.
- Demonstrated ability to carry out financial planning and analysis
- Experience in fund raising within the financial market
- Adept at using Microsoft Excel for financial modelling and data analytics.
- Excellent analytical skills as well as a strong business acumen.
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with different stakeholders.
- Result oriented, organized, proactive, can prioritize effectively and multi-task to deliver results in a fast-paced work environment.
