Corporate Planning & Procurement Manager
Job Objectives
- Coordinates and manages the Corporate Planning Functions
- Coordinates and ensures full implementation and adherence to all Corporate Processes & Policies
- Oversees and coordinates client documentation and central records
- Management of Supply Chain activities particularly central procurement activities
- Management of Insurance, Risk Mitigation & Statutory Compliance Protocols
- Creates & Implements PEST (political, environmental, Social and Technological risk) controls
- Management of tendering and contracts management processes
- Oversight of the Internal Audit Functions
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Planning & Process Management:
- Manage and track project scheduling and delivery timelines.
- Measure and track quarterly expenditures per project budgets.
- Coordinate preparation of Project Execution Programs and track execution
- Coordinate interface of construction, design services, development control and legal functions
- Consolidate process manuals and support all business managers to ensure utilization of reporting templates.
Operations, Supply Chain Administration & Risk Mitigation:
- Coordinate and ensure adherence to all supply chain and project execution policies inclusive of recommending improvements where necessary.
- Ensure that all business divisions receive the professional support (particularly material resources) required to ensure attainment of set objectives.
- Coordinate corporate tendering processes to ensure cost effective completeness.
- Manage all insurance activities and in conjunction with Legal Manager, ensure full compliance with regulatory protocols.
- Identify & Institute mitigating controls for all Political, Environmental, Social, Technological Risks that may impact or impede the company.
Revenue Assurance & Client Engagements:
- In conjunction with the Manager, Research and Finance ensure appropriate pricing of all projects to ensure adequate support for business development & channel sales teams to ensure revenue performance.
- Coordinate all Client documentation and manage all pertinent disputes for expedited resolution.
- Serve as primary Ombudsman contact for Client engagements.
- In conjunction with finance teams track budget performance and in conjunction with Human Capital monitor optimal manpower productivity.
- Oversee Internal Audit function to avoid revenue leakages.
Educational Qualifications and Experience
- University Degree in Law, Economics, or other Social Science
- An MBA from a Grade A school will be a great advantage.
- International Exposure or minimum of Five (5) years critical experience in a multi-national organization.
- Minimum of TEN (10) years’ work experience with at least FOUR (4) in a general or process management role.
