- Emergency Communications Centre (ECC) is a service designed to cater to the emergency needs of the nation. It is our duty to uphold the required standards and provide the necessary assistance required in this field.
- The role of an Emergency Service Agent is pivotal in providing rapid response and assistance during emergency situations.
- Working in a high-pressure environment, Emergency Service Agents handle incoming emergency calls, dispatch resources and coordinate responses to incidents, ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals in distress.
Responsibilities
- Answering incoming emergency calls promptly and professionally.
- Gather critical information from the caller, including their location, the nature of the emergency and any injuries or medical conditions present.
- Determine the appropriate emergency services needed based on the information gathered.
- Provide emergency medical instructions to callers when necessary.
- Dispatch emergency services and coordinate with other agencies as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with emergency protocols and procedures.
- Any other duties assigned.
Qualifications
- Interested candidates should possess an HND or B.Sc Degree with 1-2 years experience.
