Factory/Store Accountant at Rovedana – Hiring Now

Location: Sagamu Interchange, Lagos/Ibadan Express Way, Ogun Sate

Salary Budget: 500,000 – 800,000 Naira Monthly

Job Description: 

We are seeking to hire a very smart and experienced Factory/Store Accountant who would carry out required accounting tasks professionally and according to the best practices and in line with the manufacturing mode of operations.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Reporting of actual financial results for the operations department which includes operations, manufacturing, procurement, logistics and facilities
• Financial control of all aspects of stock including provisioning and average costings
• Financial control of all fixed assets in the manufacturing department including tooling
• Financial budgeting, forecasting and planning for the operations department
• Decision support for all aspects of the department aimed at improving overall performance.
• Development and reporting of financial and other KPI’s for the department
• Ad hoc work including investment analysis to support operational decisions

Key Requirements:

• HND/BSc/ Masters qualifications in Accounting
• Ideal candidates will be a Chartered Accountant 
• Minimum 5-8 years’ experience working in a manufacturing company with food safety Standards, (ISO/FSSC).
• Maintain all factory related accounting requirements, from invoicing, expenses, cash book/day book, daily sales report, debtors and receivables. Prepare salary schedules, maintain stock values and physical reconciliation of finished goods,
• Must have knowledge in the TALLY, Sage and any other relevant accounting packages.
• Must be able to use advanced excel, Knowledge word and basic technology understanding.
