Purpose of the Job

The Fibre Operations Engineer will be responsible for Spot Checks and Reporting of Outside Plant Fiber Activities, Milestone and Final Acceptance Testing, Escalations and Enforcement of Quality, As Built Documentation and Maintaining and Updating .Standards and Specification Documentation for Training purposes

• Quality Assurance And Compliance on All Outside Plant Deployments and Operations
• Periodic Audit and Verification of As Maintained Information and Records
• Updating and Maintaining Standards and Specifications Documentation
• Updating and Maintaining Training Documentation

Educational Qualifications

• Minimum 2.1/ Upper Credit Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Computer Information Systems or any related field or a combination of related experience and education.

Functional Skills:

• 3-7 years experience in Turnkey Fiber Deployment and Civil Works standards and specifications
• Good understanding of Microsoft Office Suite including MS Project
• Conversant with the Use of CAD and GIS
