Fractional Chief Technology Officer
What You’ll Do:
- Technology Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive technology strategies aligned with client business goals.
- Technology Assessment: Conduct technology audits to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement in client technology infrastructure.
- Project Management: Lead and manage technology projects from conception to completion, ensuring they meet client expectations, timelines, and budgets.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
- Experience: At least 10 years of experience in technology leadership roles, preferably within the financial services, technology, or telecom sectors.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of software development, infrastructure, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and other key technology areas.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
- Business Development Collaboration: Experience working with business development teams to scope client projects and identify technical solutions.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and implement effective solutions.
- Project Management: Experience managing complex technology projects, with a focus on meeting deadlines and budgets.
- Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements.
- Flexibility: Ability to work on a fractional/part-time basis, with flexibility to meet the varying needs of multiple clients.
- Business Development Support: Collaborate with the sales team to identify client needs and craft technology solutions that meet their requirements.
- Technology Architecture: Design and oversee technology architectures that are scalable, reliable, and secure.
- Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage technology vendors and partners to ensure the delivery of high quality technology solutions.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate technology strategies and project updates to stakeholders, including client executives, to ensure alignment and understanding.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal and external teams, providing technical guidance and leadership as needed.
- Compliance and Security: Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices, with a strong focus on technology security.
- Innovation and Trends: Stay abreast of emerging technology trends and innovations, providing recommendations for their application within client environments.
