Graduate Trainee – Procurement
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Shall assist in the Creating and maintaining of good relationships with vendors/suppliers.
- Shall assist in ensuring that Procurement activities are executed (Vendor registration and information update, prompt response to customer request and Documentation processing)
- Shall assist in maintaining records of cash purchases, pricing, and other important data.
- Shall stay current with industry trends and standards to ensure continuous improvement
- Shall assist in expediting and sourcing processes in Procurement unit
- Shall assist in Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options.
- Shall assist to Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts.
- Maintain and update a list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- (B.SC, B.Tech/B.Eng.) or Higher National Diploma (ND) in Engineering and Sciences with major in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Physics etc.
- Must have graduated with a minimum of Second-Class Upper Credit from a reputable University and no earlier than 2019. Please note that applicants with lower qualifications will not be considered.
- Must have completed the mandatory National Youth Service Program (NYSC).
- Must not be older than 28 Years as at the date of application.
- Must be proficient in the use of Computer and Micro soft Office packages
- Must Possess effective written and oral communication skill
- Must be trainable and must have the ability to learn fast
- Must pay attention to details and have a strong reading culture
- Must have the ability to write and develop basis documents
- Must have the ability to multitask and handle work pressure
- Must possess excellent Vendor /Supplier Management reskill
- Must have and exhibit the right attitude, culture and character
- Must be flexible and adaptable to change
- Ability to adhere to procedures and guidelines
