Role Description

• Fedeth Microfinance Bank is looking for a full-time Head of Finance and Risk.
• This role is based in Abuja and is on-site.
• The Head of Finance and Risk will be responsible for not only ensuring the company’s financial viability but also assessing risks and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• The role requires clear communication skills and the ability to lead and motivate a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Professional certifications such as ACCA, ACA, CPA, or CFA are required
• At least 5-10 years of experience in financial analysis, treasury management, and risk management
• Experience in microfinance banking, deposit mobilization and disbursement and knowledge of CBN rules and regulations will be an added advantage
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling
• Ability to lead, inspire and motivate a team of finance professionals
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
