Key Responsibilities:

• Proper coordination of procurement and logistics functions throughout the business to ensure that inputs/products are readily available and delivered at the most competitive cost available to end users.
• Optimize and run an efficient distribution and delivery process end to end, i.e., from suppliers to our last mile consumers.
• Proper accountability and storage of raw materials purchased to avoid loss and damage.
• Negotiate with vendors to ensure the company has a favorable documented agreement on an extended payment period, especially for core inputs purchased from suppliers.
• Consistently researching and innovating to provide cost effective solutions to our supply chain and distribution processes, benchmark our methods with other players in the QSR space, and adopting lessons from the peer review.
• Periodically evaluating internal challenges that may mitigate against efficient procurement and logistics processes and proactively providing solutions before they occur.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and departments to align supply chain activities with business objectives, demand forecasts, and production schedules.
• Periodically conduct supplier evaluations, audits, and performance reviews to assess reliability and compliance with contractual requirements.
• Create a plan to consistently leverage suppliers’ networks for partnerships with Bukka Hut for revenue generation, CSR projects, or other mutually beneficial goals.
• Oversee and monitor inventory levels both at the warehouse and at outlets. Forecasting and replenishment to minimize stockouts and excess inventory while maximizing inventory turns in the process.
• Lead sustainability energy initiatives to minimize environmental impact, reduce waste, and promote ethical sourcing practices.
• Optimize delivery routes and transportation methods to minimize transportation costs and maximize efficiency end to end; producers to end-user consumers, whilst ensuring that vehicles are well maintained.

Qualifications:

• HND/Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in Quick Service Restaurant industry in Nigeria.
• Proven track record of successfully managing supplier relationships, optimizing inventory levels and improving supply chain efficiency.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively round the clock in a fast-paced environment to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, quality assurance standards, and sustainability practices.
• Great attention to detail with impressive problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and supply chain management software.
