Description
- Our client is seeking to appoint an experienced HR and Admin Manager. This pivotal role is designed to foster a positive work environment, streamline human resources processes, and ensure efficient administrative operations within the firm.
- The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing and implementing HR strategies that support our mission and values.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws and company standards.
- Oversee the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Manage employee benefits programs and ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Facilitate performance management, including setting objectives, conducting performance reviews, and supporting career development.
- Address employee relations issues, grievances, and disciplinary actions with utmost professionalism and confidentiality.
- Assess training needs and organize development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
- Lead career development and succession planning efforts to build a strong talent pipeline within the organization.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture and enhance retention.
- Manage daily administrative functions, such as office management, facilities maintenance, and procurement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Law, or related field.
- MBA in Human Resources, Psychology, or related discipline.
- Professional HR certifications (CIPM, HRCi, SHRM, or equivalent) are preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in core HR functions, with proven leadership roles, ideally within consulting, advisory firms, NGOs, or dynamic environments.
- Comprehensive understanding of Nigerian labor legislation, HR best practices, and industry standards.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging effectively across all organizational levels.
- Strong business acumen, high emotional intelligence, and effective coaching skills.
