HR Manager
Role Description
- Oversee and ensure effective full-cycle employment efforts, including recruitment, onboarding, orientation, performance management, pay role structure and termination of staff
- Draft professional employment contracts, agreements, memoranda of understanding (MOU) and any documents from the office of HR and MD
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy!
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital!
- Nurture a positive working environment
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
- Maintain payment plan and benefits programme
- Assess staff training needs to apply and track training programmes
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
- Stay up-to-date with Nigerian labour laws and regulations to ensure compliance, maintain, and build relationships with the labour office
- Handle labour relations matter and represent Amoga Media in legal disputes (as needed)
- Write a quarterly cumulative report of SWOT Analysis of all staff and the HR Office monthly report
- Manage office supplies, equipment, and facilities to ensure a safe and productive work environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree: Law, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Mass Communication, or related.
- minimum of 3–5 years of HRM experience
- CIPM-certified or equivalent
- MSc. is an added advantage (Optional)
- Strong knowledge and experience in Nigerian labour laws and regulations.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
