Information Technology Lead
Responsibilities
- Able to configure different routers and switches
- Able to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to operating systems and applications
- Able to Install updates and maintain software applications and operating systems
- Understanding and experience with Network cabling (LAN and FIBRE)
- Able to provide technical support to staff. Vast in remote troubleshooting and repair
- Understanding of how to manage different servers
- Understanding of CCTV operations and management
- Experience in repairing or replacing computer hardware (desktop and laptop) and network equipment.
- Experienced with Microsoft tools and applications, Email management and configuration
- Must be able to build and manage websites on different platforms
- Vast in LAN and WAN configuration (DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, wireless and Ethernet) and VLAN Setup and configuration
- Able to handle live streaming setup and management
- Support in defining and implementing robust IT strategies and initiatives that align with the church’s overall goals and objectives.
- Support developing and implementing robust IT policies and procedures; monitor and ensure adherence to established policies and procedures.
- Support the IT department in operational, strategic planning, and budgeting, including fostering innovation, planning projects, organisation, and resource allocation.
- Diagnoses and ascertains technology requirements; makes recommendations for improving and growing the IT infrastructure & systems to enhance value and improve performance.
- Ensures the church website is user-friendly and constantly updated.
- Works with the Head of IT & stakeholders to define the church system requirements for technology implementation.
- Provides periodic and ad-hoc reports to support the Head of IT & management in decision-making.
- Manages the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of the church’s IT systems.
- Manages IT vendors & service providers to ensure delivery in line with agreements and specifications.
- Evaluate the performance and utilisation of information technology systems and tools and make appropriate recommendations to management.
- Fully experienced in providing and maintaining IT security across large networks
- Identifies, assesses, and manages information technology risks; ensures the security of data, information, and systems.
- Supports in developing and implementing data quality and protection standards and adoption requirements.
- Supports and supervises the development & training of the church employees.
- Performs other duties as required by the Head of the IT Department.
- Provides direction and managerial support for the IT team.

Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Devoted follower of Jesus Christ
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in ICT, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Cisco CCNA and Active directory services
- Mikrotik Router Experience (certification in this area is an added advantage)
- Vast in cloud storage and management
- Relevant professional certification.
- Minimum of 5 years working experience.
- Experience working in a faith-based organisation is a plus.
