Job Description

• Represents the local audit department and is responsible to assess the effectiveness on the internal control system.
• Supports the management to improve the effectiveness of the company’s risk management, control and governance processes. 
• Organizing the audit processes for Allianz Nigeria and performs audit activities in line with the general guidelines set by Allianz Group.
• Responsible for the performance of the department and coordinates collaboration with external audit firms. 
• Evaluate adequacy and effectiveness of Allianz Nigeria internal control in accordance with Allianz policies and standards. 
• Proactive and systematic identification of the implication of changes on business strategy and their impact on audit risks.
• Responsible for assessing and sponsoring the reinforcement of the internal control system.
• Ensure independent oversight and review of the quality of the internal control systems and evaluate their adequacy and effectiveness. 
• Follow up on agreed implementation steps and recommendation.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in internal or external audit.
• The Bachelor of Commerce degree or any related filed. 
• Professional certification in CIA or CMA will be an added advantage.
