Job Details

  • Conducting thorough audits across different departments of the company, including finance, acquisition, property management, leasing, and more.
  • Ensuring that financial and operational procedures comply with industry standards, company policies, and applicable laws.
  • Identifying and evaluating financial and operational risks faced by the firm, such as market risks, credit risks, operational risks, and compliance risks, and developing strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Assessing potential risks related to the firm’s real estate ventures, such as inaccuracies in financial reporting, fraudulent activities, or weaknesses in internal checks.
  • Developing and implementing audit protocols to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and identify areas for improvement.
  • Analyzing financial records, contracts, lease agreements, and other documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Creating detailed audit reports summarizing findings, including identified risks, control deficiencies, and recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Presenting audit outcomes to management in a clear and concise manner, effectively communicating complex financial and operational issues.
  • Collaborating with management to devise and implement strategies to address identified risks and control gaps.
  • Staying updated on the latest industry standards, accounting practices, and relevant real estate regulations to ensure compliance and best practices.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to play a vital role in our financial operations. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, while providing valuable insights to support informed decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the accounting cycle, including accounts payable & receivable, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting.
