Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing team.
  • The Accountant will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations of our construction projects, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and providing insightful financial analysis to support project management and decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Track and analyze project costs, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor expenses.
  • Prepare and maintain project budgets and forecasts.
  • Monitor cost variances and provide explanations for deviations.
  • Allocate overhead costs to projects accurately.
  • Prepare project cost reports and provide regular updates to project managers.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements.
  • Process invoices and payments to vendors and subcontractors.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments from clients.
  • Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable balances.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Participate in the development and monitoring of the company’s annual budget.
  • Prepare financial forecasts and projections.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other accounting and finance-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of construction accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, specific construction software) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Summary

  • The Loan Officer is responsible for the entire loan lifecycle, from initial client assessment and loan application processing to disbursement, monitoring, and recovery.
  • The role requires strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of credit risk and lending policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively source and acquire new clients within the target market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Conduct thorough client interviews and needs assessments.
  • Educate clients on loan products, terms, and conditions.
  • Collect and analyze client financial information, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow projections.
  • Assess creditworthiness and determine loan eligibility based on established criteria.
  • Prepare loan applications and supporting documentation.
  • Present loan applications to the Credit Committee for approval.
  • Disburse approved loans to clients in accordance with bank policies and procedures.
  • Monitor loan performance and ensure timely repayments.
  • Implement appropriate recovery strategies for delinquent loans.
