Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing team.
- The Accountant will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations of our construction projects, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and providing insightful financial analysis to support project management and decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Track and analyze project costs, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor expenses.
- Prepare and maintain project budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor cost variances and provide explanations for deviations.
- Allocate overhead costs to projects accurately.
- Prepare project cost reports and provide regular updates to project managers.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements.
- Process invoices and payments to vendors and subcontractors.
- Ensure timely collection of payments from clients.
- Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable balances.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Participate in the development and monitoring of the company’s annual budget.
- Prepare financial forecasts and projections.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Perform other accounting and finance-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, specific construction software) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- The Loan Officer is responsible for the entire loan lifecycle, from initial client assessment and loan application processing to disbursement, monitoring, and recovery.
- The role requires strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of credit risk and lending policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively source and acquire new clients within the target market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Conduct thorough client interviews and needs assessments.
- Educate clients on loan products, terms, and conditions.
- Collect and analyze client financial information, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow projections.
- Assess creditworthiness and determine loan eligibility based on established criteria.
- Prepare loan applications and supporting documentation.
- Present loan applications to the Credit Committee for approval.
- Disburse approved loans to clients in accordance with bank policies and procedures.
- Monitor loan performance and ensure timely repayments.
- Implement appropriate recovery strategies for delinquent loans.
- Initiate legal action for non-performing loans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.
