NYSC Intern

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Social Media Management

  • Manage and curate content for the company\’s social media accounts, including LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube.
  • Create and publish engaging posts, including job ads, to boost the company\’s online presence.
  • Actively engage with our online audience by responding to comments and messages.
  • Content Research and Creation
  • Collaborate closely with our graphic designer to develop visually captivating content for various projects and marketing campaigns.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and conduct research to identify relevant topics and content ideas for our social media pages.
  • Team Collaboration; Recruitment/Talent Search Assistance
  • Participate in team activities and projects, providing valuable support and insights.
  • Support our HR and recruitment team in sourcing and screening potential candidates for job openings.

Email Management

  • Professionally manage company email communications by responding to client inquiries and sending out emails as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES

  • Currently posted to Lagos for NYSC currently in need of a PPA
  • Proximity to Lekki phase 1 is a must.
  • Exceptional tech/internet-savviness and familiarity with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative mindset and ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.

Method of Application

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee bar operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient service to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain the bar menu, keeping it innovative and in line with customer preferences and seasonal offerings.
  • Manage and train bar staff, promoting a collaborative and high-energy team environment.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and safety within the bar area.
  • Accurately handle cash and operate a point-of-sale (POS) system, reconciling transactions and managing daily cash flow.
  • Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage relationships with suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:    

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Proven experience with a minimum of 4 years as a Bar Manager or similar role, with strong knowledge of wines, beers, and spirits.
  • Certification in bartending or hospitality management is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems and bar stock control.

REQUIRED SKILLS:    

  • In-depth knowledge of wines, beers, spirits, and cocktails.
  • Proficiency in handling cash and operating a point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Excellent customer service and team management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
