Description
- We are urgently looking to hire a Chinese Translator to facilitate communication between Chinese expatriates, senior management, and factory workers.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate conversations, documents, and instructions between Chinese and English.
- Assist Chinese expatriates and senior management with communication during meetings, training sessions, and daily operations.
- Convey technical and operational instructions to factory workers as directed by expatriates and management.
- Provide real-time verbal translation for discussions, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Translate written materials, including reports, manuals, and company policies, for management and workers.
- Ensure smooth communication to prevent misunderstandings and improve efficiency.
- Any other task assigned by senior management
Requirements
- Minimum Level 4 proficiency in Chinese (HSK 4 or equivalent).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and English.
- Ability to work on-site and provide real-time translations for different teams.
Additional Preference for Onsite Living:

Description
- This is a full-time on-site Warehouse & Logistics Officer role located in Awka, Anambra state. As a Warehouse & Logistics Officer, you will be responsible for recording stocks, organizing inventory to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the supply chain within an Aluminium Extrusion Factory,
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and store items systematically in designated locations.
- Optimize warehouse space through strategic product arrangement.
- Clearly label shelves, bins, and products for easy identification and retrieval.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized warehouse environment.
- Implement and enforce stock rotation methods, such as FIFO (First In, First Out).
- Oversee the careful loading of goods onto delivery vehicles to prevent damage.
- Communicate effectively with the warehouse supervisor and team to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to all safety protocols when handling profiles and heavy materials.
- Collaborate with various departments to facilitate the seamless movement of goods.
- Maintain accurate inventory records for all outgoing goods.
- Ensure all shipping and receiving documentation is properly completed and filed.
- Conduct and participate in monthly stock counts.
- Assist with periodic inventory audits to verify stock accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Comply and ensure all other warehouse staff comply with all warehouse policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Identify operational issues, take corrective action, or escalate to the warehouse supervisor.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by senior management.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of HND in related of fields.
- Proven experience in logistics or warehouse, in a manufacturing or similar industry.
- An attention to detail and accuracy.
- Computer skills.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Numeracy skills.
- Planning and time management ability.
- Ability to carry out clerical duties efficiently.
- Good communication skills.
