Job Duties / Description
General:
- The House Master / Mistress is responsible to the Chaplain of School
- The overall leadership and smooth running of the hostel.
- The supervision and guidance of staff and, above all,
- The safety and welfare of the students.
Routines:
- The Hostel Mistress has to ensure that all students have completed an induction process and that the daily routine is understood and adhered to.
- Additionally, that the students understand where they should be and why, that they are organised and prepared for their lesson or activity and that supervision of students is appropriate at all times when they are in the hostel as well as outside the hostel and also during trips and excursions.
- Inspect students before they go to school.
- Daily inspection of dormitories to make sure it is neat and well kempt.
- Inspection of lockers and bags for contrabands in the hostel.
- Orientating/monitoring the students to ensure that School property isn’t defaced or destroyed.
- Continuous check during the night to make certain the students are asleep in safe positions.
- Enforce of siesta, and make certain that sleeping conditions are good.
- Supervision of prepping activities.
- Ensure the students participate in all indoor and outdoor activities required.
- Weekly written report to be submitted to the hostel mistress.
Job Qualifications
- Interested candidates should possess an HND qualification with 1 – 3 years work experience.

Method of Application
Responsibilities
- Carry out of vehicle service and repair as per specified in the service checklist and vehicle repair order.
- Ensuring all service and repair are performed thoroughly and in accordance to good quality practice and procedures adhering Company’s standard.
- Practice of genuine replacement of parts and service rendered according to the checklist and scope of works.
- Diagnosis and identification of technical fault and determining the correct measures to take.
- Identifications of the spare parts required for any given job.
- Ensuring the work assigned is carried out in a professional manner and that the vehicles are clean and presentable prior release from the workshop.
- Maintaining standard FRT on works.
- Ensure compliance with safety systems and procedures.
Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess a Vocational Certificate / HND / B.Sc in a relevant field with 3 – 5 years work experience.
