Lead Facility Manager

Job Description 

  • Our client is seeking in and outside the country qualified and experienced Facility Manager to oversee the management of equipment and facilities within a diverse portfolio, which includes a 100-bed ultra-modern hospital, a 5000-seater state-of-the-art auditorium, and a 2500-seater auditorium with associated offices and residences.
  • The suitable candidate must have a background in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, good understanding of power management and HVAC equipment and proven experience managing large and diverse teams.

Role Summary

  • As the Lead Facility Manager, you will lead a team of experts, plan routine maintenance, ensure adherence to Health and Safety guidelines within the facility, schedule deliverables, estimate costs, and ensure the successful, uninterrupted smooth daily running of the facility in accordance with established standards.
  • Your strategic mindset and sharp analytical skills will drive performance, compliance and excellent service delivery.

Key Responsibilities 

Hospital Facility Management:

  • Ensure optimal functionality of medical equipment.
  • Oversee maintenance, safety, and compliance in the hospital facilities.
  • Collaborate with department heads to meet healthcare standards and regulations.
  • Ensure constant and uninterrupted power distribution

Auditorium Management:

  • Coordinate event setups and breakdowns in the 5000-seater and 2500-seater auditoriums.
  • Maintain audio-visual equipment and technical systems.
  • Manage facility logistics for diverse events and activities.

General Facility Oversight:

  • Supervise routine maintenance and repairs across all facilities.
  • Implement energy-saving initiatives and sustainability practices.
  • Ensure a safe and secure environment for staff and visitors.

Team Leadership

  • Lead a team of facility staff, including technicians and support personnel.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years experience in Facility management
  • Hands on experience with HVAC and as a power manager
  • Proven experience in managing complex facilities, preferably in healthcare, Hospitality and large-scale event venues
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and efficiently in a dynamic environment.
