About the job
- Develop end-to-end learning curricula that address organizational goals, skill gaps, and competency frameworks across all career levels.
- Design modular learning paths, including foundational, intermediate, and advanced courses, enabling progressive skill development.
- Create standardized templates for course materials, ensuring consistency and quality across all learning programs.
- Incorporate diverse learning methodologies, such as microlearning, blended learning, experiential learning, and simulation-based learning.
- Develop role-specific curricula for technical, functional, leadership, and compliance training programs.
- Embed competency frameworks and key performance indicators (KPIs) into course objectives, ensuring measurable learning outcomes.
- Map learning objectives to business outcomes, ensuring curricula directly support organizational strategies.
- Design onboarding curricula to accelerate new hire productivity and integration into company culture.
- Integrate DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) principles into learning content to promote an inclusive workplace.
- Develop certification programs with assessments to validate learner competencies and promote professional growth.
- Curate digital learning resources, such as videos, podcasts, articles, and interactive modules, to complement traditional training.
- Design e-learning courses using authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate) with interactive content like quizzes, videos, and simulations.
- Develop learning personas to ensure curricula meet the diverse needs of learners with different backgrounds and experience levels.
- Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to source content and ensure technical accuracy of learning materials.
- Develop microlearning modules for quick, on-demand knowledge delivery.
- Collaborate with LMS administrators to ensure curricula are structured and accessible within the learning platform.
- Create learning toolkits and job aids, supporting on-the-job learning and knowledge retention.
Requirements
- Experience in Learning and Development Role
- BSc in Business Management, Human Resources, Psychology or other related area
- 4 years’ experience of working in an L&D role٫ Training Manager or other relevant position
Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, support strategy implementation and associated plans.
- Previous experience in the creation and delivery of learning packages based on adult learning principles, including in instructional design.
- Experience with the use and/or development of technology to support learning, including practical experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
- Experience with training and assessment, training management and facilitation.
- Proven ability to collaborate and consult to obtain relevant information from subject matter experts.
- Experience implementing large scale corporate training programs
- Experience delivering remote training to employees that are geographically dispersed
- Experience delivering learning in areas with access to limited technology and internet connectivity
- Experience delivering training and learning to people with limited literacy.
- Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation practices for learning.
