Motion and Graphics Designer

  • Responsible for controlling the entire process of defining the company’s brand requirements, visualising and creating graphics to satisfy external and potential clients and increase the company revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Review and proofread designs to ensure that copy, layout, and dimensions are print-ready
  • Maintains the brand’s consistency across all designs and printed materials
  • Create covers and layouts for proposals and reports
  • Develop creative Banners for monthly events to suit all advertising media
  • Ensures final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
  • Develop Illustrations for daily articles and social media posts
  • Develop banners for weekly podcasts
  • Create motion graphics and Infographic videos for social media posts and events
  • Keeping up to date with the latest design trends, techniques, and printing standards
  • Create illustrations to visualise concepts and themes for the teams
  • Renders and presents design mockups for revision and feedback
  • Implements feedback revision and creates final designs for printing
  • Manages the timelines and workflow of print design projects
  • Collaborates and brainstorms with the creative team to define design briefs and requirements
  • Preparation of reports weekly, monthly and quarterly for our business units or clients
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three (3) years experience as a graphic designer or a similar role
  • A thorough knowledge of designs, printing products and services
  • A good knowledge of design software, such as Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, Illustrator and Premier Pro,
  • Photo editing skills, Illustration, Motion Graphics, Video Editing
  • Ability to prepare documents for print
  • Editorial design skills
  • Strong portfolio of print design work
  • Proficiency in design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Experience in producing a range of printed materials, including catalogues, textile prints, and magazine designs
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • The ability to manage multiple design projects and perform under pressure
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional creativity and innovation
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
  • Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills
  • Good understanding of business processes
