About Our Client:

Role Summary:

As a Nurse Anesthetist you will be responsible for administering anesthesia and providing anesthesia-related care to patients undergoing surgical procedures or other medical interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Administer anesthesia medications and monitor patients’ vital signs before, during, and after surgical procedures or other medical interventions.
• Assess patients’ medical histories, preoperative assessments, and anesthesia needs to develop individualized anesthesia care plans.
• Monitor patients’ responses to anesthesia and adjust anesthesia levels and medications as needed to maintain safe and optimal anesthesia depth and hemodynamic stability.
• Provide airway management, ventilatory support, and resuscitation measures as needed during anesthesia administration.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient care during surgical procedures.
• Document anesthesia care, patient responses, and medication administration accurately and timely in medical records and anesthesia records.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nigeria.
• Certification as a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) from a recognized accrediting body.
• Previous experience working as a nurse anesthetist in a surgical or perioperative setting preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of anesthesia principles, practices, and protocols.
