About the job
- Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers’ expectations and maximize sales revenue.
- Responsible for service output, service/product quality and on-time delivery
- Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results.
- Implement strategies in alignment with overall corporate strategic initiatives and provide sense of direction to team members.
- Monitor operations and operating environment and trigger proactive actions
- Stay up to date with plant management best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Implement systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics, and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets
- Address employees’ issues or grievances and administer disciplinary and development procedures.
- Collect and analyse data to find areas of waste for elimination
- Implement approved standard operating procedures and execute systems that always enforce safety compliance.
- Manage inventory cycle and ensure optimal performance.
- Ensure periodic maintenance schedules are carried out at the earliest time
- Ensure customer service delivery that is consistent with the company’s SLA
- Facilitate recruitment of team members at the plant level in collaboration with the HR.
- Responsible for the wellbeing of assets and personnel in the outlets
- Responsible for all compliance matters directly attributable to the plant
- Responsible for payment and inventory reconciliation.
- Proffer pricing strategies
- Drive and achieve the plants targets as provided by the management
JOB REQUIREMENT
- Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of BSc, OND or HND academic qualification in relevant fields
- At least 3 years’ experience in similar role

- Managerial Competence (Budgeting, Planning, Resource Allocation, HR, decision making, stewardship)
- Attention to details: Ability to avoid mistakes by being careful and thorough in completing work tasks
- Integrity: Ability to maintain a high ethical standard as appropriate for the industry
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to deal effectively and to a high level of customer service standard with all types of customers
- Ability to lead and influence
- Technical understanding of LPG, LPG operations, safety, quality, demand creation, inventory, operating environment, and the industry is an added advantage

- Computer Literacy (MS Office, the ERP & relevant APPs)
