Plant Technician
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all technical aspects within the factory, including compressors, packaging machines, fryers, roasters, mixers, and generators.
- Address short-term and long-term technical issues promptly and effectively.
- Conduct thorough root-cause analysis to identify service interruptions and implement preventive measures.
- Diagnose hardware or software faults in these systems and resolve issues in person or remotely.
- Perform tests and analyze results to make informed recommendations for equipment repairs.
- Maintain accurate updates in systems and databases with meticulous attention to detail.
- Document all work performed and recommended actions on repair orders.
Requirements
- Possess a BSc/HND or equivalent education, with a minimum of four years in a technical role.
- Demonstrate expertise in creating, analyzing, and repairing large-scale distributed systems.
- Identify, analyze, and evaluate mature and transitioning technologies to meet emerging requirements.
- Conduct in-depth root-cause analysis to address service interruptions and establish preventive measures.
- Proactively identify potential issues and implement effective solutions.
- Act as the team’s technical subject matter expert and provide support for technical escalations.
- Design, develop, implement, and test technical solutions aligned with business needs.
