Project Engineer/Architect
Job Summary
- The Project Engineer/Architect is responsible for the design, planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects. This role involves ensuring compliance with safety standards, project timelines, and budgetary constraints while collaborating with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality architectural and engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Review technical designs and drawings to ensure strict compliance
- Oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to design plans and safety standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers for smooth execution of projects.
- Monitor progress and resolve on-site technical and design issues.
- Prepare project cost estimates and budgets.
- Monitor project expenditures and ensure cost efficiency.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and internal teams to ensure project alignment with expectations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.
- Prepare progress reports and present project updates to stakeholders.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., COREN, ARCON, PMP) is an advantage.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in project engineering/architecture.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant tools.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, safety regulations, and building codes.
- Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
