Project Manager

A leading firm specializing in integrated facilities management and real estate consultancy services, is actively seeking to fill a job vacancy. Job Summary/Objective

The Project Manager will play a key role in the strategic planning, coordination, and successful execution of projects within the organization.

Responsibilities/Duties: 

  • Lead and coordinate the project team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Provide guidance to team members, ensuring adherence to project timelines and objectives.
  • Implement robust quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of project deliverables. Conduct regular quality assessments to ensure compliance with established criteria.
  • Develop and implement benchmarking and checklist systems to enhance project operations. Regularly evaluate project performance against benchmarks, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Formulate and implement a comprehensive framework for asset and facility management operations. Integrate industry best practices into the framework to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments for project activities, identifying potential challenges. Develop and implement effective mitigation measures to proactively address identified risks.

Educational Requirements: 

  • Possession of at least a Higher National Diploma (HND) or a Bachelor’s degree (BSc./B.Eng/B.Tech) Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
  • A Master’s degree (M.Sc./MBA) in Project Management or a related field is considered advantageous.

Professional Qualifications: 

Candidates must hold at least 1 recognized professional certifications such as:

  • Estate Surveyors and Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria (ESVARBON)
  • International Facility Management Association (IFMA)
  • Certified International Workplace Facilities Manager (CIWFM)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS)

ICT Requirement: 

  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for data analysis, reporting, and presentations.
  • Proficiency in using Project Management Information Systems to manage and organize project-related information, documentation, and communication.
  • Proficiency in using Power BI, or other relevant tools to analyze project data, track progress, and generate reports.
