Job Description
- Our client requires the services of a Roof Coatings Production Manager to join her team. The Roof Coatings Production Manager is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the production of specialized roof coatings.
- The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in the production of construction chemicals and coatings, with specific expertise in mixing and manufacturing various types of roof coatings.
- This role is crucial in ensuring the high-quality production of roof coatings that meet industry standards and customer expectations.
Job Functions
- Roof Coatings Formulation: Utilize in-depth knowledge and expertise to develop, refine, and optimize formulations for various types of roof coatings, ensuring they meet performance, durability, and safety standards.
- Production Planning and Scheduling: Develop comprehensive production plans and schedules to meet customer demand, ensuring efficient resource allocation and timely delivery.
- Quality Control and Assurance: Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure that all roof coatings meet or exceed established quality specifications, conducting regular testing and inspections.
- Mixing and Manufacturing: Oversee the mixing and manufacturing processes, ensuring accurate blending of raw materials and adherence to precise formulations.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw materials, intermediates, and finished roof coatings to maintain production continuity and avoid stockouts.
- Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and enhance production processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity in roof coatings manufacturing.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of production staff, providing guidance, coaching, and training to foster a motivated and skilled workforce.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Enforce and uphold safety protocols and regulations, conduct regular safety training, and ensure full compliance with health and safety standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations in roof coatings manufacturing.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular production reports, including key performance indicators, and maintain accurate records and documentation related to roof coatings production.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all production processes adhere to environmental, safety, and industry regulations and standards, particularly those relevant to roof coatings.
- Supplier and Vendor Relations: Collaborate with procurement teams to evaluate and manage suppliers of raw materials and chemicals for roof coatings production, ensuring a reliable supply chain.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Extensive knowledge of roof coatings formulations, manufacturing processes, and quality control.
- Proficient in mixing and manufacturing various types of roof coatings.
