As a Security Officer at Westingate Global Enterprise WA LTD, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our premises, employees, and assets. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Surveillance: Monitor and patrol the assigned areas to detect and prevent unauthorized access, suspicious activities, or security breaches.
• Access Control: Manage and control entry and exit points, ensuring that only authorized personnel gain access to the premises.
• Emergency Response: Act promptly and efficiently in the event of emergencies, such as fires, medical incidents, or security threats, and coordinate with the relevant authorities as needed.
• Security Checks: Conduct regular inspections and checks on individuals, vehicles, and bags entering or leaving the premises to prevent theft or unauthorized items.
• Incident Reporting: Document and report any security incidents, accidents, or violations of security policies to the appropriate personnel.
• Customer Service: Interact with employees, visitors, and clients in a professional and friendly manner, providing assistance and information when needed.
• Security Procedures: Enforce security policies and procedures, ensuring that all employees and visitors adhere to them.
• Alarm Response: Respond to alarms promptly and investigate the cause, taking appropriate actions as required.
• Safety Awareness: Promote safety awareness among employees and visitors by providing guidance and information on safety measures.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other security officers and team members to ensure a cohesive security environment.

Qualifications:

• WAEC Certificate or equivalent.
• Previous experience in security or a related field is a plus.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical fitness and the ability to stand and patrol for extended periods.
• Knowledge of emergency response and first-aid procedures is an advantage.
