Job Overview
- We are looking for a highly skilled and strategic Station Manager to lead our client’s operations, drive business growth, and enhance service delivery at our station.
- The Station Manager will be responsible for overseeing all facets of the company’s operations at the station level.
- This includes managing departmental performance, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, fostering stakeholder relationships, and driving financial and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee various departments within the organization, ensuring operational excellence and staff performance.
- Identify and pursue growth opportunities in the local market through customer acquisition, strategic partnerships, and new business development.
- Prepare and submit yearly financial budgets in collaboration with department heads.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure financial targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) are met.
- Develop and implement business strategies that promote growth and market expansion.
- Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and government authorities, to support business objectives.
- Ensure full compliance with local and international freight regulations.
- Maximize profitability by improving efficiency and optimizing resources.
- Provide monthly reports on station performance and key operational metrics to senior management.
- Participate in commercial activities to drive revenue growth and strengthen market position.
- Organize weekly coordination meetings to align cross-functional teams.
- Represent the company at trade fairs and industry events to enhance brand visibility.
- Conduct a SWOT analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Coordinate meetings with the principal airline (ET) at least twice a year to review performance and set targets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or aviation operations.
- Proven leadership experience in a managerial role within the freight or logistics industry.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and financial planning.
- Excellent relationship management skills with a strong network in the industry.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Proficiency in logistics software and reporting tools.
