Technical Officer (Extra Low Voltage)
Duties / Responsibilities
- Carry out repairs and maintenance of electronic security installation of the systems (CCTV, Access control, Biometric readers etc) for the warranty period and subsequent service level agreement
- To monitor piping and conduit during the first fit of the installation process
- To coordinate casual labour and subcontractors on-site based on the Branch Manager’s instruction
- To be proficient and knowledgeable in the maintenance and repair of all Extra Low Voltage equipment
- Accurately maintain logbooks, planned maintenance system and spare part control
- Taking part in emergency and occupational onboard training such as using self-contained breathing apparatus, firefighting, or other training as applicable for the functions
- Actively participate in all QHSE-related activities.
Skill, knowledge, education and experience
- BSc / HND in Electrical / Electronic Engineering from a recongnised institution is required;
- Minimum of 1-year experience in Extra Low Voltage (ELV) project
- Basic relevant Engineering knowledge in project implementation
- Good knowledge of security systems and ELV equipment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good knowledge of electronics and cabling
- Supervisoryvisory skill, initiative, and ability to withstand pressure
- Administrative skill
- Good interpersonal skill
- A team player
